Thermal Models and/or Thermal Properties and Composition Materials of Arria 10 SOC and PowerSOC Components

Ideally looking for thermal models for Arria 10 10AS016C4U19I3SG and EN6362QI/EN6337QI/EZ6301QI PowerSOC components for the purposes of doing system level modelling.   An ANSYS thermal model would be ideal, FloTHERM ok.  See some thermal models for Stratix 10 parts on Intel's website, and some FLOTHERM models for Stratix II, III, IV, and Cyclone III … but not for Arria 10 or PowerSOC parts.

If no thermal models are available, minimally need bulk thermal properties and % composition of the materials used in the parts.   As an example, like is discussed in Appendix B of this Freescale white paper:  https://cache.freescale.com/files/analog/doc/white_paper/BasicThermalWP.pdf.   Don't see this information anywhere either.

Hi Rahul,

I am the Altera-dedicated FAE at Arrow Electronics that supports this account for Intel. Do you know when the flow therm model will be available for the customer to use? It's been over a week since you made the request to the engineering team.

Thanks,

Steve Zack

RSree,

Received the FloTherm model for the Arria 10 part from SZack.   Sincere thanks to you and anyone else involved internally at Intel with generating this.  Unfortunately it turns out that we can neither view nor translate the FloTherm model for use in Ansys modeling tools as we were hoping.   Looking around how other do this the suggestion was made to export the mechanical and composition information from the FloTherm tools (either mech CAD file like .iges or .step, or even .cvs file with cords

Hi Rahul,

Do you or some one else within Intel have the ability to export the .iges mechanical info from the FloTherm model, or export the coord data in .csv format from the FloTherm model you already created for us? This information along with the material composition data is what the customer is trying to get.

Thanks,

Steve Zack
