Hello everyone,

I am currently redesigning from Intel Arria GX to Cyclone V device.

The old design uses a transceiver Arria GX that was generated with ALT2GXB, the basic configurations are: 1 channel with 20 bits input and data rate 1 Mbs and protocol is basic.

Can someone help which transceiver IP do I have to use for the Cyclone V and how do I have to configure it so that the old and new design are compatible

HI,

Cyclone V transceiver architecture has evolved as compared to Arria GX. The IP core is now called NativePHY IP. You can't directly migrate design. I am sorry but redesign is required.

You can checkout the chapter 16 for more explanation of Cyclone V NativePHY IP.

Thanks.

Regards,

dlim
