VGA to NTSC

I am using the DE-115 development board that has a VGA output. I would like to convert the VGA output to NTSC output and use a daughter board to display this NTSC data.

The DE-115 board has an example for NTSC to VGA, but not VGA to NTSC.

Does anyone have any information on how to convert the VGA image to NTSC image? It looks like I need to use the chroma resampler and the color spalce convertor?

Thanks

on top of a frame buffer to allow you to interlace the picture.

Does this sequence sound correct?

Video Input -> clipper -> scaler -> chroma resampler -> color space convertor -> Interlacer -> frame buffer -> video output

Do you know of any HSMC boards I could use on the DE-115?

Thanks for your help

if possible you would leave scaling+clipping until after the colour space conversion.

Also, the interlacing is done on the way out of the frame buffer, not the way in. You need to double buffer the frame buffer to prevent live tearing.

Do you know of any daughter boards that have HSMC connector that we could use to test? I haven't found anything.

Thanks for all the help.
