Verifying a System Design Created by Quartus Platform Designer

I recently developed a platform which connected the HPS of a Stratix 10 to the DMA controller. Is there a way to verify this design in simulation rather than putting this in the board and testing it? I want to test that when issuing memory transactions through the driver, it will output the correct results similarly to this design: http://blog.reds.ch/?p=835
