Hi,everyone,i have some question about remote update, below are details:
1. I used w25q128 flash for 5AGTFD3H3F35I3 and 5AGXMA3D4F31I3.
2. The flash storage boot and app,but the program is failed to jump from boot to app.
eg:so,is this FLASH chip not suitable for remote updates on this FPGA, and the program cannot jump properly.
Is this flash suitable for program redirection for these two FPGAs? If so, are there any relevant examples for reference. If not, are there other flash recommended.

Hi,
W25Q128 is not tested by Intel, hence we are not sure of it functionality.
You can refer to the link below for recommended configuration device for Arria V.
In Remote update userguide also have the information for the supported flash:

according to my experience, Winbond W25Qxxx devices work well as AS memory. Flash ID check has to be disabled in programming file converter. According to your description, a dual boot design is failing in your test, there are many possible reasons why this happens. Did you try with basic single configuration and .jic programming?

the id check is disabled, and the boot or app running separately is normal, but boot to app is not ok.

I doubt that it's a flash problem. More likely an inconsistent RSU configuration, e.g. wrong application start address.
