has anyone had issues programming Cyclone 10 GX FPGA using Cyclone 10 GX FPGA Development Kit?

I'm currently working with the Cyclone 10 GX Dev kit for a development project and I'm having issues with the JTAG chain after programming the FPGA in Active Serial mode. The JTAG chain is broken after programming the FPGA only once and now I can't figure out how to restore the JTAG chain. I'm using the latest Quartus prime software v18.1. Has anyone had a similar problem? any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi LGonz14,

Can you kindly try to change your TCK frequency to 6 MHz (default value)?

Kindly try it out with your design and let me know the result.

Thanks😉

Hi MShafiq, Unfortunately, setting the TCK frequency to 6Mhz doesn’t make a difference because the programmer gives me the following error message: Error(209040): Can't access JTAG chain Regards, Luis A. Hi Luis,

Can you try to change the MSEL and power-up the board?

This to ensure the board still can detect the JTAG chain.

If can’t detect, mean your board is dead.

Thanks.
