hello,
I want to measure the power dissipated on a STRATIX III development board (not using the A/D circuitry on the board). To do that I have to measure voltage across the sense-resistors R215, R218 and R214 with probes, tweezer,... that are permanently fixed to this resistors. This resistors are surface mount chip components and conventionnal oscilloscope probes are to big to be clipsed on the resistor pins. Some suggestion ? thx for your attention;Link Copied

Just solder a couple of small wires to each side of the sense resistors. It's easier than finding something to clip onto service mount chips. Then you can clip onto the wires with your oscilloscope probes.
Just keep the length of wires reasonable, and you shouldn't have any problem. Pete
