JFFS2 for Linux

JFFS2 for Linux

In the Linux Kernel configuration, JFFS2 Support depends on:

  • Memory Technology Devices Support (MTD)
  • Miscellaneous File Systems

Packages needed for building jffs2

To build jffs2 support for Linux, the following libraries must be installed on your Linux desktop:

  • zlib-devel
  • lzo-devel

You will need to define your flash partitions in the variable "static struct mtd_partition nios2_partitions" in arch/nios2/kernel/config.c. Also, make sure you are defining the correct flash width in "static struct physmap_flash_data nios2_flash_data" in the same file.
