Note: This is a repost of an earlier thread(https://community.intel.com/t5/Gaming-on-Intel-Processors-with/Asphalt-Legends-United-Graphics-Discoloration-Issues/m-p/1672555)
I installed Asphalt Legends United game today from 'Steam'. But then I noticed an issue. Whenever I joined a race, a weird discoloration issue will occur. It starts occuring from the second race after game launch. That is, after launching the game, if we join a race, the issue will not occur. But if we join any other race after that, it starts happening.
My Laptop Specs:
CPU: i5-1035G1
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics
Ram: 8gb
I have played the game before, but this didn't happen then. I uninstalled it about 3 months back and installed it now, and this started happening.
Steps I tried:
1. Using the latest driver: 30.0.101.2134 (I was already using the latest driver)
2. Downgrading to older drivers: I tried about 3 older drivers from different times. Nothing solved the issue
3. I already have the latest version of Windows 11( Build 26100.3323) as well as the game.
4. It started as soon as I installed the game.
5. I tried the ' Microsoft Store' version of the game, still the exact same issue.
6. I tried changing the game graphics settings but still no improvements.
5. I have attached a video of the issue along with the graphics settings within the game.(Sorry for the low resolution. I had to compress it to below 23 mb. The texts are still readable).
So, please give me a solution for this problem.

Hello Risinglion21,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
Thank you for providing all the information I might have requested. I want to set your expectations that Intel offers generic versions of software and drivers.
Your computer manufacturer may have modified features, added customizations, or made other changes. If you have an OEM device, it's best to contact your Computer Manufacturer Support Websites for optimal driver compatibility with your system.
However, upon reviewing your OEM driver page, it appears they only offer drivers for the Windows 10 platform. I also noticed that a newer Intel® Graphics Driver version 31.0.101.2135 is available. Please attempt a clean installation of this driver. If the issue persists, consider using the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).
Please let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

I tried updating to the latest intel driver you suggested(31.0.101.2135) using a clean installation.
There was also a new update to the game(version: v24.5.0m).
But the issue still exists.
From what I have researched outside, this issue exists only in the intel uhd graphics g1 series of integrated graphics.(igpu of i5-1035g1, i5-1005g1, etc).

I have already mentioned the specs of my laptop in my first post. Ask me more about the specs if necessary.
Since I am using a laptop, I think the only way to replicate the issue is to use a same or similar specced laptop to mine.

Hello Risinglion21,
Please be informed that this issue is still under investigation, and I need to clarify what you mean by discoloration.
From the video, here is what I observe—please confirm if this is the discoloration you referred to.
Additionally, could you share the link(s) where you found information indicating that the issue is specific to Intel UHD Graphics G1 series integrated graphics (iGPU of i5-1035g1, i5-1005g1, etc.)?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

I can't view the image you have attached. If I open it in new tab, it takes me to microsoft azure login page.
As for the source:
Someone else posted about this same issue on reddit using my video, on which I asked him about his computer specs. He replied that he is using an Intel-Core-i3-1005G1 processor and Intel UHD Graphics, which is the same g1 graphics as my processor.

Hello Risinglion21,
As we continue to investigate this issue, it seems to align with an existing thread. Could you please confirm if this is a new thread you created and whether you have previously used the username 7adhu_1, as the video provided matches content from that user? Here is the link to the other thread: https://community.intel.com/t5/Gaming-on-Intel-Processors-with/Asphalt-legends-unite-Graphics-Discoloration-issues/m-p/1679591#M4055
Additionally, our investigation into the previous thread indicates that the graphics hardware may be outdated, and the current driver might not fully support the latest game updates, potentially leading to the discoloration issue. Since the problem occurs after the first race, it might be triggered by a specific game action or transition.
We recommend reaching out to your OEM for further assistance or considering upgrading your system's graphics hardware if the issue persists. Furthermore, as noted in the reference article "Graphics Driver Support Update for 10th Generation and Older Intel Processor Graphics," please be aware that graphics issues on iGPUs from the 10th generation or older will not be addressed unless they require a critical fix.
I look forward to your confirmation regarding the other thread in your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

The other thread is created by another user who is using my video. The user is the same user named "PracticalSnow6198" in the reddit link I sent you before. He can also be seen replying in my original thread: https://community.intel.com/t5/Gaming-on-Intel-Processors-with/Asphalt-Legends-United-Graphics-Discoloration-Issues/m-p/1672555)
which I have mentioned about in my first post.
