So before the Intel® Arc™ and Iris® Xe Graphics update for Windows* dated 2024-12-09, I could play Fortnite just fine. Last night, I updated as usual and when I launched Fortnite, the game kept crashing with a crash reporter that didn't provide any useful info. I thought it was just a weird glitch that would fix itself by restarting the game, but it kept crashing. I changed settings in the game, verified the files, and nothing worked. The only thing I can think of is that it's an issue with the new update. I'm considering downloading the previous version of my Intel® Arc™ and Iris® Xe Graphics for Windows* to see if that solves the problem, so please tell me im not the only one

Hi Sp4iCr4b,
Thanks for posting in the community. It seems that both of you are experiencing issues with Fortnite after using the latest driver. I have a few questions to help investigate this further. Can you please provide the following information:
- Can you confirm if the driver causing the game (Fortnite) to crash is version 32.0.101.6325/32.0.101.6252?
- Are you using a laptop or desktop? If it's a laptop, can you tell me the model?
- What is the model of your graphics card?
- Besides Fortnite, are other games also crashing?
- Does it crash on the game menu or during gameplay?
Additionally, can you provide me with a crash dump file so I can identify the specific event causing Fortnite to crash? Please refer to this link for help on creating a crash dump. Scroll down the thread until you find the section on crashing: https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-ARC-Graphics/Need-help-Reporting-a-bug-or-issue-with-Arc-GPU-PLEASE-READ-THIS/m-p/1494429#M5057
Also, to better understand your entire system information, please use the System Support Utility (SSU). This will generate a text file that compiles all your system information. You can follow this link for instructions and send the text file here. How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows

Sure, sorry, I was busy and couldn't reply to the messages
1- The driver version that started causing Fortnite to crash for me was Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6314 (WHQL certified). I haven't installed any newer drivers yet, so I don't know if Fortnite crashes with versions 32.0.101.6325 or 32.0.101.6252. I'm still using Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6078/32.0.101.5736.
2- I'm using a laptop, a LENOVO_MT_82H8_BU_idea_FM_IdeaPad 3 15ITL6 with 20 GB RAM and a 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz
3- My graphics card model is Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics
4- Honestly, I haven't checked if other games are having similar crash issues because I don't usually play demanding games on my laptop
5- It crashes both in the menu/lobby and in the middle of games. I can play a match normally, but then it crashes suddenly, or it crashes right in the menu. I think it crashes because sometimes while playing on my laptop, the game experiences FPS drops, which is normal, but with that version of the graphics driver, the game crashes.
And sorry, I don't think I have a crash dump file. While looking for solutions to fix the crashes, one of the possible fixes involved deleting some files in the game folder, which I think included that type of file. As for the new versions for my graphics card, I might install them to see if the issue is resolved

Just in case, with the version I currently have, Fortnite has stopped crashing. That's why I haven't installed any new versions for now.

Hi Sp4iCr4b,
I wanted to make sure that I got it correct, currently Fortnite has stopped crashing on your laptop, is that correct? Can you tell me what steps did you take to prevent it from crashing?

First of all, when the game started crashing, I had the Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6314 (WHQL certified) version. Before figuring out that this version of the Intel Arc and Iris Xe driver was causing the crashes, I looked up information on the internet about the Fortnite crashing issue. I followed all the recommended steps, watched tutorial videos on YouTube to see if any of them fixed the problem, but nothing worked. So, the last thing I did was re-download and install the driver version 32.0.101.6078 WHQL, and that's when Fortnite started working fine without any crashes and now the game works fine

Fortnite crashes randomly with Intel Arc A750 and A770 with Performance Mode on in Fortnite.
The Problem is with all newer Drivers.
With the old drivers there is no problem, but with the newer ones.
Randomly Fornite freeze and close with an Error, but no helpful error message.
Greetings
