Graphics Issue Report:
System Specifications:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-1235U (12th generation)
- RAM: 32 GB DDR4
- Graphics: Intel Integrated Graphics

System Specs File:
I've attached the system specs text file generated by Intel's SSU.exe for your reference.

Issue Description:
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is experiencing rendering issues, resulting in a red screen.  Similar setups with AMD Radeon graphics reportedly don't face this issue.

Comparison:
- Other users with similar specs (Intel CPU, integrated graphics) but with AMD Radeon graphics don't experience the red screen problem.
- The game runs on handheld PCs with integrated graphics, suggesting potential optimization opportunities.

Note on System Requirements:
I'm aware that my system specs are below the recommended requirements listed on Steam. However, I believe the game should still be playable, albeit with potential performance issues like lower FPS. The primary concern is the red screen problem, which makes the game unplayable.

Community Feedback:
Other users have reported similar issues, and while they've been informed that a fix is forthcoming, they've received no further updates or resolutions.

Request:
I'd appreciate assistance in resolving this graphics issue, similar to the fixes provided for The Last of Us Part 1. A clear timeline for addressing this issue or providing updates would be helpful.

Steps Taken:
- Installed the game and attempted to play with default settings.
- Observed consistent red screen rendering issues.

Additional Information:
- Screenshots or images of the issue are available upon request.
- System logs or debugging information can be provided if necessary.

Contact:
Looking forward to your response and potential solutions to improve the gaming experience on Intel integrated graphics.

Hello Trisant_06,

Thank you for reaching out with your detailed report on the graphics issue you're experiencing with The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. I understand the frustration of encountering rendering problems, especially when other setups seem to run the game without similar issues.

The red screen issue you're experiencing could be due to several factors, including driver compatibility, game optimization for integrated graphics, or specific settings within the game. It's important to note that integrated graphics often have limitations compared to dedicated graphics cards like AMD Radeon, which might explain the difference in performance.

To help us investigate the issue further, could you please provide the following details? Additionally, any system logs or debugging information you can share would be valuable in diagnosing the problem.

1) I see that you are already using the latest driver version 32.0.101.6739 and still experiencing issues. Have you tried using at least three previous driver versions to see if the problem persists? If possible, please perform a clean installation using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) with the following drivers:

2) Please provide a screenshot of your game settings.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

JeanetteC.

Re: Graphics Issue with The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered
Thank you for your prompt response, Jeanette. I appreciate your efforts in addressing the graphics issue I'm experiencing with The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.

Driver Testing:
As per your request, I've:

1. Downgraded the GPU driver to version 32.0.101.6732 using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) for a clean installation.
2. Tested the game with the downgraded driver.

Unfortunately, the red screen issue persists even after downgrading the driver.

Game Settings Screenshot:
I've attached a screenshot of my in-game settings for your reference.

Next Steps:
Given that the issue remains despite driver changes, I'd like to inquire about potential fixes or patches that might address this problem. Are there any planned updates or optimizations for Intel integrated graphics that could resolve this issue?

Additional Information:
I'm happy to provide any additional system logs or debugging information that might be helpful in diagnosing the problem.

Looking Forward:
I appreciate your continued support and look forward to your response regarding potential solutions or next steps.

Hi Trisant_06,

After deliberate checking on this issue, our investigation indicates that game, The Last of Us Part 2, requires a discrete graphics card for optimal gameplay, including resolving graphical issues. We recommend using a discrete graphics card, and if possible, installing one on your computer.

However, since this is a laptop and a discrete graphics card cannot be installed, it is best to consult directly with the game developer for further assistance on making the game playable on your device.

I hope this helps.
