WARZONE 2.0 artifacts Intel Iris Xe Graphics

Hello Intel Support. I play warzone 2.0 on my Surface 8 pro i7-1185G7 Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
I have the latest drivers installed  31.0.101.3959, Windows 11 22H2. Why are there permanent polygon artifacts in the game?! Everyone has this bug, why can't you fix it?

Hello Artfulz,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I am sorry you are having issues with Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics. I will be glad to assist you.

Be aware that you are currently using the 31.0.101.3959 driver version, which is a previous version of Intel® Arc™ Graphics DCH BETA Driver (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/729157/761751/intel-arc-graphics-windows-dch-driver-beta.html). This driver is not for your system.

Please perform a clean installation of the latest graphics driver version 31.0.101.3790 (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html) and let me know if the issue persists.

None of those methods work this is a driver issue, as this is indeed a driver issue.

This problem is also happening to me I have tried 31.0.101.3959 driver and 31.0.101.3790 on both 11th gen and 12th gen intel iris xe graphics and they both do not fix the graphical artifacts.

Intel please listen and fix your driver support.

I confirm that the problem remains on driver 31.0.101.3790. Perhaps it is necessary to solve it together with Activision Publishing, but the problem exists. At a minimum, the Iris Xe dev team should be informed about this.

Thank you both for the information provided.

@Artfulz while we work on this, please install the latest version 31.0.101.4032 (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/726609/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-whql-windows.html) and then provide the following two reports:

  • On Windows, look for the Intel® Graphics Command Center > Go to Support > Click on System Diagnostic > Click on Generate report > Save the report as a .txt file and attach it to your reply.

Open the application and select "Everything", click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View". Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View". To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save". Please attach the file to your reply.

This information will help us to test this on our side. Look forward to hearing back from you.

I can verify that this issue is (still) valid. The ground in Warzone 2.0 is either rainbow-coloured or heavily grey-brown glitched.

I have i7-1165G7 with Iris Xe Graphics. I have Intel Arc Control with 31.0.101.4032 Graphics driver installed.

Everything seems to work otherwise in the game, but the heavy glitching lessens the game experience a lot.

Looking forward to this being fixed.

For the moment, we recommend you to keep updating the graphics drivers as it may include the fix for this issue.

No solution, the bug is still there as of 20-Aug-2023 with the latest drivers for Iris Xe. I had not checked this for a longer time, as the Warzone has been listed as "Known problems" in driver update summeries.

Instead of continuing here (the support probably is no longer monitoring this thread), I created a new post here:
