Hello sugars!
I'm having a bit of a problem here!
I've switched from Windows to Linux ( currently running Ubuntu 23.10 ) and i can't seem to be able to set the proper resolution to the external monitor :V
Here are my specs:
Model: Dell Inc. Vostro 3400
CPU: 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz × 8
GPU: Intel Corporation TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics]
Monitor: HUAWEI MateView GT 34'' Ultrawide Curved Gaming Monitor, 165Hz, 21:9 WQHD
Just to make things clear un Windows it worked just fine, same cable same port!!

I understand that you are having issues with the resolution 3440x1440, I will do my best to assist you here.
- How is the monitor connected to the laptop?
- Are you using adapters/splitters/docking stations or is it a straight connection (HDMI to HDMI, no adapters)?
- Does this happen with another monitor?
- Please provide the EDID using the operating system or a third-party tool.
- Please attach an Intel SSU report so we can have more information about your system:

Hi man! Sorry i was unable to reply in the last couple of days.
I made some progress though it apparently seem to be working now but only if i set a refresh rate of 25 if i set higher than 25 it doesn't work anymore :V

It's connected HDMI to HDMI no adapters or anything, same cable, same port as i had on Windows

Yes i have another 4k monitor ( resolution that should be supported by the integrated GPU but it still can't go beyond 25Hz
I've attatched an SSU report.....since it's working with 25Hz i assume it's a driver issue since with the same setup it was working on WIndows just fine on 60Hz

- Also, have you installed the driver from your Linux Distribution? The graphics drivers for Linux operating systems are provided by them. I am unable to see the driver version in the report.
- Please provide us with the EDID, you can use the OS or a third-party tool.
- Did you make sure that Linux Operating systems are supported in your laptop with your System Manufacturer?
