I want to connect two HDMI monitors to my Dell Inspiron 3891 (Windows 11) with a UHD Graphics 630 that has a VGA and a HMDI connector. One monitor is connected directly with an HDMI cable and the other with a VGA to HDMI connector.
When I check the monitor setup menu in Windows, both monitors are recognised. The one connected via the VGA to HDMI connector is correctly recognised as VGA to HDMI.
I can select the option to extend the monitors. However, the monitor connected to the VGA port remains black. It says "No HDMI signal detected".
I currently have driver version 30.0.101.3111 installed.
Does anyone have any idea why the second monitor remains black?

There are all sorts of issues with multi-monitor support - and especially using the VGA port - for Dell machines. I personally do not think that this has anything to do with the graphics driver. I suggest that you consult the Dell forums regarding this issue. I also suggest NOT using dongles such as this; connect using straight-through VGA cable only.
Hope this helps,

Hi Scott,
thanks for the prompt reply.
I will have a go with a VGA cable and check out the Dell forum and support.
Thanks again for your response. Have a great day.
