946GZ Express cant handel extended monitor

Why dosent 946GZ support extended monitor? who needs to clone a desktop? not me, i need it to be extended.

is this function closed for ever or can i solve this by my self?

Hello there, the Intel graphics 946gz does not support extended desktop by design. This was never implemented on this chipset.

This is strange, as if I boot same system with Ubuntu, extended desktop works. HW is not changed at all? any idea why it won't work on windows xp sp3?
