HO un PC HP con CPU I5 1135G7 con scheda grafica Iris XE Intel driver & Support Assistant mi segnala che è disponibile un aggiornamento driver o è meglio scaricarlo dal sito HP? Ultimo aggiornamento HP 2023! Saluti

HO installato il driver 32.0.101.6793 come mi ha spiegato è tuttora questo! 32.0.101.6790 pero' viene segnalato installato Intel & driver support assistant!

Please follow the steps below to update your Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics driver:

 

  • Open Device Manager:
    • Press Windows Key + and select "Device Manager."
  • Access Display Adapter:
    • Expand the "Display adapters" section.
    • Right-click on "Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics" and select "Properties."
  • Check Driver Version:
    • Go to the "Driver" tab.
    • Note the driver version using Notepad.
  • Go to Windows Settings:
    • Open "Settings" from the search bar.
    • Navigate to "System" and click on "Windows Update."
    • Temporarily turn off Windows Update.
  • Download Latest Driver:
    • Visit the Intel Download Center.
    • Download the latest driver version 101.6793.
  • Install Driver:
    • Locate the downloaded file and run it.
    • Follow the installation instructions.
    • Do not select "Execute clean installation."
    • Proceed with the installation steps.
  • Restart System:
    • Restart your computer to apply changes.
  • Verify Update:
    • After restarting, open Device Manager again.

32.0.101.6795 è installato questo driver, ma ogni tanto si installa il vecchio 31.0.101.5334 ho contattato Microsoft per bloccare installazione vecchio driver ma non so se è riuscito! 32.0.101.6790 è segnalato installato il 5 maggio da Intel & Driver Support Assistant, ho provato di più volte a disinstallare e reinstallare l'app ma segnala installato 32.0.101.6790 non quello giusto 32.0.101.6795 ! Saluti

The reason Windows keeps installing the older driver is that you need to temporarily turn off Windows Update before installing the latest driver. Kindly follow the instructions carefully and make sure to restart your system to apply the changes.

32.0.101.6795 disattivo sempre Windows Update quando lo installo ma a volte capita che installa il driver vecchio 31.0.101.5334 ho contattato Microsoft per vedere se si riesce a escludere la installazione del vecchio driver  abbiamo provato al momento sembra funzionare è installato il nuovo driver! Saluti

Thank you for your update regarding the driver installation issue. It's great to hear that the new driver (32.0.101.6795) seems to be working after contacting Microsoft to prevent the installation of the old driver (31.0.101.5334).

Sometimes, the latest drivers may not be compatible with your specific hardware or system configuration. Intel DSA might report the most compatible driver version for your system, even if it's not the latest. If your computer is from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) like Dell, HP, or Lenovo, they might provide customized drivers for your hardware. These OEM drivers can be different from the generic drivers provided by Intel, and Intel DSA might prioritize these OEM versions over newer generic ones. Occasionally, Intel's servers might not have the latest driver information available, or there could be a network issue preventing DSA from accessing the latest data.
