I've got the ASUS TUF f17 fx706hc, and EVERY time I update the windows Intel graphics driver, it black screens me half way through updating, and my display rarely comes back after more than 5 restarts.
Ive uninstalled, removed, and reinstalled drivers, I've reinstalled and updated windows, my problem isn't the display itself because it still lights up and I can see my BIOS/UEFI, and windows start up options (including safe mode) give visuals, and when windows DOES load properly, I get error 43 in device manager
I genuinely don't know why the driver updates keep getting corrupted to the point I can't use my laptop

How did you perform the update? It’s by manually dowloading the driver from intel? For code 43, click this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000038287/graphics.html#:~:text=Error%20Code%2043%20can%20be,since%20these%20drivers%20are%20customized.
By the way, what is the exact model of your processor?
