My platform was fairly old (A Dell Ryzen 1700X on X370, with only PCIe 3.0 x8, and no Resizable BAR support), but my A750 was running okay on it with the March 15th driver (31.0.101.4255) .
The problem started with the April 25th driver. After logging in, the system would freeze with the three "intel arc control" prompts in the notice tray. If I stayed in the logging-in window, the system will stay responsive for a little longer and then freeze. (I have always been using clean installations when updating.)
Luckily I had created system restoration point, so I rolled back to ver. 4255 and waited for the next update.
After updating to the May 15th driver, the same problem appeared. The only difference is that the system will remain responsive for a little longer till around a minute after the "intel arc control" prompts. The cursor is still movable, but no effects will show when it is moved over any icon, nor can you click on any icon with it.
I appreciate all the hard work by the Intel engineers, and am amazed at the performance improvements in games. However, the two most recent drivers has rendered the system unusable for basic daily tasks, which I believe most Arc users cares more about.
