Hello Muchoomaxx78,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you.

To better assist you regarding your issue, please provide us with the following:

  • When you mentioned the 2k resolution, do you refer to the 2560 x 1440 resolution?
  • Is your issue that the 2k resolution is not available when using the HDMI?
  • Is it possible for you to try another display or HDMI cable for testing?
  • We would like to gather more information about your system, this would help us check if the system is up to date and check further details. Please create a system report using the following tools:

Intel® System Support Utility (Intel®️ SSU).

  • Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
    • Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
    • To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."

Intel® Graphics Command Center:

  • Open the Intel Graphics Command Center
    • Navigate to the Support tab
    • Select System Diagnostic
    • Click Generate Report
    • Select Save and name the output file.

Hello Muchoomaxx78,

Thanks for the information provided.

Since you mentioned that you updated the BIOS to the latest version, we want to recommend you check if Smart Access Memory is enabled. Sometimes, after updating the BIOS, some settings may change, and the update may have disabled this option. Please note that Smart Access Memory must be enabled for optimal performance when using Intel® Arc™ A-Series Graphics.

You also mentioned that the information in the Arc Control Software reports that there is no 4k support, and you are using DP instead of showing the HDMI connection you use. Can you share a screenshot of the information reported by Arc Control?

It seems that there is some information missing some information on your post. We noticed that you did not share the Intel® Graphics Command Center report. Please, create the report and attach it to your next response. As mentioned before, the report includes some system information that would help us troubleshoot your issue.

Best regards,
