Auto Dimming on Just Photos Online - Unwanted - - -

Hello folks,
I have properly searched the forums and Google itself
and found similar but not quite,...

I'm having an auto dimming problem with just online photos
especially on online newspaper sites......

each time I click to the next photo,
 brightness and contrast are fine
but "auto-dims'' in 1 second, to almost too dark to see details

I put a small video up -

https://youtu.be/8-wAd2ze8RY

This happens in Chrome, Firefox , Edge and Opera ....
both laptop screen and ext monitor -
> Lenovo 6 yr old all-in-one
that has the option to turn on just the screen
without turning on the internal computer

its just online photos

the rest of my screen is fine,
my own photos on my own laptop are fine,
it only happens on websites , ie
Seattle Times, the Guardian, San Francisco Chronicle, etc

3 year old HP laptop, Windows 10, 64 bit, etc
Intel HD Graphics 620

Thank you
Craig

Hello targetpool,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

Thank you for the video provided, however, the issue itself is not clear. If the problem is that when you open or click the next image the photo itself goes from dark to light at the beginning I would like to inform you that happened the same to me when I open the Seattle Times website and not only on the computer but also in a cellphone.

I would like you to try and provide the following just to have a better view of the issue:

1. Do you have your operating system and drivers updated?

2. Does this issue happens on other devices (phones/tablets/PC)?

3. Does this issue appear when you go to google images?

4. Does this issue appear in social media apps?

5. Try the following links on your laptop and if possible other devices and let me know if you see the issue:

If you noticed the same behavior in any device, this could mean that is just a feature of the website and nota problem with your computer. Please do not hesitate to let me know the outcome of this test.
