Basically, on Windows 8.1, the latest graphics driver for Intel HD Graphics 4000 seems to crash mainly when I play games. Im wondering if there is a driver made exactly before version 5059 that works perfectly. And is not too out-of-date. Thanks, AA

You should use only the drivers provided by Sony for your laptop, as they may have been customized/modified specifically for your laptop. Using the intel generic driver can certainly result in the problems you are having. If sony is not providing the latest driver for your laptop, ask them why.
