Blank Screen on Install of Arc A7xx

I have my A770 coming today. There seems to be more than a few instances on Reddit where people have a problem after installing the A7xx card that their monitor is blank.  It is on but indicates no signal. After Running DDU you are left with the standard VGA support. If you cannot get a picture on your monitor then you cannot install the Arc drivers. You also cannot install the Arc drivers if the arc video card is not physically installed. Catch 22 unless you have a CPU with an IGPU or can put your old video card in along with the ARC to install the drivers.

I have seen post or people you have this problem with both DP and HDMI connections. Can you guys look into this? I would like to see this product succeed.

OK. As a follow up.

My system is a Z370 Taichi with 8700K newest BIOS with Rebar enabled. IGPU is also enabled

I installed my A770 today. Display port to my monitor. Ran DDU, installed the card and powered on. No display issues which kept me up half last night think about the problems other people are having. Install the 4091 drivers no prob. I did this on two window systems on two different ssds on the same computer.

One wrinkle is with Arc Control Center. Upon the initial installation of the driver package it started up fine and I was able to access all the options It even said Resizable Bar is enabled. After that it gives me an error messageno arc control.jpg In addition to to this error, I cannot close the app. the okay button does nothing and the only way to close it is to end the task in task manager. Seem like it should work even if the IGPU is not supported, it should pick up the A770.

 

EDIT: Disabling the IGPU solved the problem with ARC Control
