Can I increase my Dedicated video memory to 1gb ?

I have ASUS X554L with 8gb ram . I increased my Dedicated video memory from 128mb to 512mb. Can I increase my Dedicated video memory to 1gb ? Thanks

Only if the ASUS bios allows you to do so.

However, you may be able to increase "system video memory". Please read post # 2 here:

Hi,

 

 

Doc has a point. Only if the BIOS has an option to increase the video memory, this will be possible.

 

 

Please bear in mind the maximum video memory is half of the system memory with the Intel® HD graphics 5500.
