I have a Dell Inspiron 3583. Dell can place their OEM drivers on their *ss. First Intel Driver update didn't give me a suggestion to update because I had a OEM driver from 2016 and dell own support app didn't give me a driver to update. After I went out of my way to manual download a Intel Driver the other day dell without having any apps installed a new update showed on windows with a Bios Update and a Driver Update. It went to like a 2020 driver. But like Intel has launched like 3 drivers just in 2024 and let's be real OEM drivers doesn't do anything special in 99,9999% of cases so I'm already trying to stop those OEM drivers from updating out of nowhere. Now I'm having trouble installing the latest 101.2128 driver and the 101.2127 drivers, Like I can download them but when I execute and extracts it the intel graphics driver installer appear "loading wait" but it closes and nothing else appear. Every single driver I installed with no problems so I stopped on the 101.2125 with a clean install.

Yes, I have also observed this problem. You can force the installation by not running the downloaded EXE file directly but unzipping it to a folder. You can then right-click in the Windows Device Manager and select the "Update driver" option and browse the unzipped directory in the following dialogs or even select the INF file manually.
However, this procedure is not recommended. With OEM devices, you should stick to the manufacturer's drivers if possible, no matter how old they are.

Thanks. I will try this method. But OEM drivers are more a coercion than a need. League of Legends, Dark and Darker, Starbound all were having problems with the dell drivers and Dark and Darker literally told me to update because the the OEM version was not supported so won't be using it.
