Hey all, just got a new work laptop (Dell Latitude 7480) and I have 2 ASUS VS239H-P monitors connected to it, 1 via HDMI, and the other via USB-C.
The issue I am having is that in the Intel HD graphics control panel, I can only enable Full Quantization range on the monitor connected via HDMI. In fact, most settings available on the HDMI-connected monitor are not available at all for the USB-C connected monitor (aspect ratio, IT content, quantization range). Also, if I try and enable YCbCr on the USB-C connection, the monitor goes black and drops connection.
The control panel is identifying the monitors as "Digital Television ASUS VS239"
Graphics controller is Intel® HD Graphics 620
Driver Version is 22.20.16.4799
Any ideas how to enable full quantization on the USB-C connection? First time posting, so please forgive me if I did not supply enough information...please let me know what else is needed and i will gladly provide it. Thanks.

It's a bug in recent Intel drivers, using version 4678 will probably work. You can find it here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26836 Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.45]
Intel, please fix.

Looks like windows updated my drivers and now I lost the full quantization range setting for my usb-c connected monitor...i am now running 22.20.16.4799
I reverted and manually applied the confirmed working 4678 driver, but I once again dont have the full quantization range setting available on my hdmi to usb c connected adapter.

I have the same issue with an Asus PB277Q over USB-C. Colors are washed out and it's identified as a Digital Telelvision. I also have the reduced General Settings. More info here:

This is still ongoing with the latest version of Intel Graphics Command Centre. Many new laptops do not have HDMI or DP ports, only USB-C ports. Using a HDMI to USB-C adapter to connect a HDMI monitor to a USB-C port on the laptop is pretty standard when setting up external monitors. Intel does not recognise this properly and will output low contrast. Quantization range and colour type settings are missing when connecting via USB-C. Why is this not resolved after several years? Especially with this practice becoming more commonplace? Please get your act together and provide proper support. Thank you.
