Cant activate graphics card

Hello, i have a Acer Aspire XC-886 with a Intel UHD 610 Integrated Graphics

 

today i put in a Geforce 1030 Graphics Card and want to use these with 2 Monitors and the UHD Graphics 610 with another Monitor

 

problem:  the Integrated Graphics Card deactivated itself and the Optzion in the BIOS to reactivate it is greyed out and cant be activated

 

any solution?

Check with the motherboard manufacturer to determine if their bios allows both to be active.  Many bios will deactivate the onboard graphics when a card is added.

I suggest that you remove the graphics card (revert to display connected to motherboard) and then go into BIOS and change the setting to Always Enable the Intel Graphics Engine. Then, when you put the add-in graphics card back in, the setting should stay and the teo engines be simultaneously enabled.

Now, Al may be correct; some older motherboards did not have support for the simultaneous use of two engines. You'll just have to try this and see...

Hello, i tried this

 

when i unplug it and go into options its "enabled" but greyed out, i tried to install the Intel UHD Graphics in windows but its unusable

 

when i unplug the graphics card and start into windows with Intel UHD and then plugin the graphics card the Computer restarts....

Sorry, you will need to ask Acer what is going on; it's their BIOS.
