Davinci Resolve Intel Quick Sync h.265 Crashes

For months I have had serious problems with Davinci Resolve in its latest versions working with the h.265 10bit 4:2:0 codec of a Sony a7SIII, other users like this example: https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=188218 as well as several Blackmagic and Intel forums reporting similar situations on identical or similar hardware configurations.

My setup:

- i5-13700K
- RTX 4070
- 64GB DDR5
- AsRock Z790 Pro RS

After weeks of talking to Blackmagic support, it seems that we have identified that the program crashes with thumbnails (the iGPU is responsible for processing them) in the timeline active and/or with the Intel Quick Sync function active (without these options the program works without failures, with somewhat lower performance). Because of this, everything indicates that there is a problem in decoding this codec, when it is done by software (without iGPU), there are no problems. Blackmagic and Intel to date have not identified whose problem it is.

Everything works correctly on the same settings and with Intel Quick Sync active in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Blackmagic recommends working without Intel Quick Sync or switching to h.264 temporarily, but the problem is not being answered, Intel urges you to speak with Blackmagic support.
