So, a couple of weeks ago my system died on me. I was listening to some Spotify, doing some web surfing and all of sudden I was greeted by a black screen and a PC that wouldn't boot anymore. And this after just two weeks of enjoying my new system!
The motherboard (Asus Maximus XI Hero) was giving me a '00' code, in the short period it would show this code - the system would only start for a short period of time before shutting off again. I did some additional trouble shooting (GPU, RAM), but that didn't work.
Now, this code could mean three things: mobo, CPU, PSU. The motherboard has been replaced (took 3 bloody weeks!), but that didn't solve the problem. The PSU has been replaced this morning with the exact same model (Corsair RM750x) and that didn't help as well. Conclusion: a dead CPU.mobdro https://pnrstatus.vip/
Replacing the CPU won't be a problem, it still has warranty, but I am afraid that it will happen again with a new 9900K. For example this topic is full of 9900K's that have died within two-three weeks. https://sarkariresult.onl/
What should I do? It still sucks that I can't use my system for 4 weeks now!
