Dell laptop no longer displaying HP monitor

My HP2009m monitor was working fine with my Dell Latitude 5420 monitor, up until an update from the Intel Arc. I tried rolling back the driver to no avail. The monitor is detected, but it comes up as a black screen. Any suggestions?

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.

 

To better assist you, please provide us with the following:

 

  • Was there any software update besides the Intel Arc driver update?
  • Is any other monitor connected to the system?
  • Are you using a straight connection to your monitor without any type of adapter, for example, HDMI to HDMI?
  • Create a system report using the Intel®️ System Support Utility (Intel®️ SSU) 
    • Download the Intel SSU
    • Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
    • Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
    • To save your scan: click on "Next"; then "Save."
