Does it matter if my bios driver matches my Intel Storage Manager?

I have .1023 on my Intel Matrix Storage Manager and i just noticed the bios is at .1007. Is there any reason i should update this? Better yet -- is this even an option? I assume it's the F6 drivers (for pre OS install).

No its not important for the BIOS to match the the RAID drivers the BIOS RAID ROM can be updated (only with a reason does it change) by a BIOS update.
