I'm currently working with a new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, with a docking station and two older monitors (1920x1080). I would like to upgrade to dual 2560x1440 monitors but I'm not sure if it would be supported by the video card?
My computer specs are as follows:
i7-8650U CPU @ 1.9GHz 2.11 GHz
16.0 GB installed RAM
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
As a secondary question, could this video card have sufficient bandwidth to operate two 4K monitors or is this asking too much?

Thanks for your response
From what I gather, the maximum resolutions is 4096x2304. I suspect that this means the card will not support two 2560x1440 monitors. However, I'm not that savvy with computers so I'm not sure if this is correct. Am I correctly interpreting the spec sheet?
I found a previous post (see below) where someone wanted to use a 4K monitor and a 2560x1080 monitor together. The response was that "due to limited bandwidth", the 4K resolution would have to be reduced to 2560x1080 so that the second monitor could be set at the same. That suggests to me that two 2560x1440 monitors will work? Is this correct?

Reinforcing, yes, the processor's engine can support up to three 2K/4K monitors. Whether you can do so with the ports that you have available on your laptop and/or on this docking station is the question - and this is a question that you will need to ask Lenovo about.
