Hello everybody,
Today I bought myself the new Need For Speed game. But when I start up the game I immediately receive the following error message.
When I just click OK, the game will start but I can't use any controls so I still can't play. It feels like my keyboard of my laptop is just disconnected. So can't use space to start the game...
So as the error message said I went to the site and downloaded the update utility. But when I search for updates I receive 2 files. Tried to install both files and as following the dialog I reboot my computer. But after starting up my computer and the game the error message just returns. If I then start the update utility again it will say the file/files are not installed…
Also tried fixing the problem by changing my preferred graphics processor in the NVIDIA Control Panel to High-performance NVIDIA processor but still won't work.
Help is really needed on this one 😕
Kind Regards,
Wim

Hello Mike,
Thank you for your reply and like I said I installed the driver and rebooted my computer as told by the update manager. Even tried to install it manualy.. :/. But the driver still isn't updated like you can see in the picture below.
Could you give me more information about how to install the driver because I don't know it anymore.
Kind regards,
Wim

Hi Wim16189161,
It is better to search the drivers manually by the model of the HD graphics. In your case 4600.
The latest graphics driver for Windows® 8.1 is version 4332
Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows 7/8.1

Now, you have 2 graphics cards in your system. It is necessary to download the latest driver for Nvidia* Geforce GTX 765M.

Hey Mike,
I'm facing exactly the same problem as Wim on my desktop. The Need for Speed game shows error message about Intel graphics driver on start and receives no control on title screen.
The slight difference might be I'm using a PC with a delicated graphics card from Gunnir and a CPU without any graphics integrated. I've being initiatively updating my Intel drivers for months but the problem still doesn't go away.
SSU file and Graphics Command Center report attached. Any help is appreciated.
Best,
Kuon
