I have a intel arc pc. I have been having big issues with Fortnite Battle Royal. Its with my fps. For example I load into Fortnite BR and then bam 40fps and goes to 3fps then to 40fps. My game just looks terrible. And in fortnite all my settings are to the lowest possible. And what confuses me the most is that Apex Legends a even more harder to run game works perfectly running smooth 180fps throughout the whole game. I just don't know why this is happening. Any advice?

I agree it is a bit strange considering Apex Legends and probably other games will run smoothly. I would like to go a step further and confirm details such as processor, graphics models, drivers, and system errors. The Intel SSU tool can gather such details about your system configuration that may help me root cause of this issue.
By any chance have you tested with Fortnite (the base game) as well? or the issue is exclusively with Fortnite Battle Royale? (I'm asking because I believe the game executables might be different between games and this could have an impact on driver optimization).
If you have done any other tests please let me know the details so we don't cover the same ground twice.
