GMA 3150 - driver's video modes

Hi there, I'm using an Eee PC 1001P with the GMA 3150 integrated. Now the Windows XP drivers (6.14.something) are able to set the resolution to 1024x768 on the flat panel (which has a native resolution of 1024x600). This results in "desktop panning" when moving the mouse/the focus towards the top/bottom screen borders. However, this functionality unforunately is missing in any of the recent Windows 7 drivers (Vista as well).

Asus support informed me this is a somewhat frequently asked question and there should be an Intel tool available (the tech support couldn't give me an accurate information either), but spending some hours googling and examining support.asus.com or intel.com didn't get me anything by now.

So I'm wondering if it is at all possible to have this feature enabled with the Windows 7 drivers, since it is something I really don't want to miss in certain applications.
