I'm not sure this helps I have the same computer with a different operating system
Operating System.Windows Vista Home Basic *, Service Pack 2
Driver Version: 7.14.10.1437
I tried to play the game not designed to suit the Vista Basic and I got a black screen after I closed all the extra services and processes (task manager) and the (system) system for improving the performance of the best performance.
the game worked fine
I begin by the ability to maximize performance and then process, if this does not work try to reduce services (if you know what you are doing) I'm not a pro. worked for me
