Hello @Tomas4
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.
In order to have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:
· Do you have any discrete GPU?
Also, please download and scan your system using our tool, Intel® System Support Utility so we can help check your system info first. Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan 'Everything', click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide the .txt file.
This document will be necessary to check your entire system, in order to find possible errors or incompatibilities.
Also let me explain you something related to your CPUs: Intel, AMD, and IRIS Xe.
Intel Core i3 10105F CPU: One notable feature of this CPU is that it doesn't come with integrated graphics. Integrated graphics are typically a part of the CPU package and provide basic graphical capabilities, allowing users to connect displays and perform tasks that involve visual elements. However, in the case of the i3 10105F, it lacks integrated graphics, which means that it relies solely on a dedicated graphics card for any graphical processing needs. This makes the i3 10105F ideal for systems where a dedicated graphics card is already in use, such as for gaming or specialized graphical workloads.
Ryzen 5 4600G CPU: AMD's Ryzen lineup of processors and is equipped with Radeon™ Graphics. This means that it comes with integrated graphics capabilities powered by Radeon technology. Integrated graphics are built into the processor and provide a level of graphical performance suitable for everyday tasks, light gaming, and multimedia consumption. The inclusion of Radeon Graphics on the Ryzen 5 4600G makes it a good choice for systems that don't require a dedicated graphics card but still need decent graphical capabilities.
Iris Xe Graphics Compatibility: Iris Xe graphics are a type of integrated graphics developed by us, they are not compatible with the Ryzen 5 4600G CPU. This is because Iris Xe graphics are specifically designed for Intel processors, and they are not interchangeable with Radeon Graphics, which are part of AMD processors like the Ryzen 5 4600G. If you were to use a Ryzen 5 4600G CPU, you would be utilizing its built-in Radeon Graphics, and you wouldn't be able to use Intel's Iris Xe graphics technology on that particular CPU.
In summary, the Intel Core i3 10105F CPU lacks integrated graphics, making it suitable for systems with dedicated graphics cards. The Ryzen 5 4600G CPU features Radeon Graphics, providing integrated graphics capabilities, and it's important to note that Iris Xe graphics are not compatible with the Ryzen 5 4600G CPU due to differences in architecture and design between Intel and AMD processors.
Best regards,
Isaac Q.

Hello @Tomas4
Thank you for your reply.
Based on our information, the "err_mem_embeddedalloc_guard_1" error in GTA 5 Online indicates issues with memory allocation for game resources. This problem can lead to crashes and freezes while playing. To address this, try restarting the game, updating your graphics drivers, and lowering graphics settings. You can also verify game files, ensure your system meets the game's requirements, and check for software conflicts. If these steps don't work, consider updating the game and reaching out to official support for further assistance.
Memory allocation in a video game like GTA 5 is crucial for managing resources such as textures, models, audio files, and other game assets. If there's a problem with memory allocation, it can lead to crashes, freezing, or other stability issues while playing the game.
Also, the TXT file must be attached to the comments in the forum. To attach a file in Intel's community forums, log in to your account, compose a post or reply, look for the attach/file icon (often a paperclip), upload your file, and insert it into your post. Preview your post, if possible, then submit it. Remember to check for file size limits and format requirements.
Once you furnish us with the TXT file, we'll need to conduct some research.
Best regards,
Isaac Q.

Hello again, I literally did everything you say, check if the game is up to date, update to the latest version of the INTEL ARC driver 31.0.101.4644, I checked if there is any conflict and there isn't, I also have to say that with the driver I mentioned I got the error ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT and I searched the internet and did everything they told me and even so gta 5 and Online kept going wrong, I increased and decreased the graphics of the game to see if it works well and in any graphics configuration it crashes in the same way and gta 4 continues to have bad performance in any graphic configuration. In the .TXT you will see that I have a previous version because in that version gta 5 works fine for me and it does not crash but in gta 4 it still works just as badly, I would like that in the next intel ARC driver update they would fix this for me, Thank you.

Hello @Tomas4
Thank you for your patience.
In this occasion we want to confirm some information first, please answer to our questions:
· Are you using any Mods Or Addons? if so can the you try the vanilla version of both games? It seems based on gameplay.intel.com Xe GFX can run GTA V. (It seems GTA IV is not in the list, but it does not mean it won't run)
· Please check the Recommended settings GTA V.
· Can you change to DX10 or DX11 and see if it happens?
· Are you using any overclocked settings?
· Where did you buy the games from?
Best regards,
Isaac Q.

Hello @Tomas4
Thank you for your patience.
Based on our information, Rockstar has confirmed that the reason Grand Theft Auto IV is no longer available to purchase from Steam is its reliance on the Games for Windows Live (GFWL) platform, which it says Microsoft is “no longer supporting.
However, we will try to replicate the issue on our lab to find a possible solution to your issue on GTA5.

Hello Tomas4
Thank you for your patience.
Based on our extensive laboratory testing, we were unable to replicate the reported issue. In fact, there were no crashes whatsoever while running GTA V. Therefore, it might be advisable to reach out to the game's developer for further assistance, as our experience differs from the reported problem.
Regarding GTA IV, we regret to inform you that we were unable to run the game due to Rockstar's confirmation that Grand Theft Auto IV is no longer available for purchase on Steam. This unavailability is attributed to its reliance on the Games for Windows Live (GFWL) platform, which Microsoft has ceased to support.
Given that this issue is ultimately linked to the game developer's decisions and external factors, we will consider this matter closed if there are no further inquiries. Should you require additional information or have any more questions, kindly submit a new query, as this particular thread will no longer be actively monitored.
Best regards,
