I am doing an experiment in my lab.
It´s a rapid serial visual Presentation protocol which needs a high and efficient refresh rate to present very high velocity stimuli (<10 milliseconds).
My screen is featured by a 144 HZ refresh rate but my experiment software indicates clearly a 60HZ limitation.
I've done the updating of the graphic card and I have a HDMI connectic but the problem persists.
Please could you help me to fix it ? I need to improve my refresh rate imperatively to do the experiment.
Thank you for contacting us regarding the refresh rate issue that you are experiencing.
In order for me to assist you better, please provide me with the .txt file that the System Support Utility will generate. To attach a file, you must click the "Attach" option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.
As well follow these steps to generate an Intel® Graphics Driver report and attach it to the forum:
Can you please provide us with your monitor's/cable model number and specs?
As well, can you tell us which resolution are you trying to get?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks for your answer.
It's possible I have found the nature of the issue but I have to test it.
I have seen in the forum it is probably due to the connectic.
Indeed, the HDMI cable seems to not allow a higher refresh rate than 60 HZ but with a dysplay port it could work.
I am waiting for this cable to do test and check it.
Thank you for your response.
I will keep on monitoring the thread so please keep us informed, we are here to serve.
I hope this helps.
