HD Graphics 530 freezing in WoW and Photoshop

I am experiencing 20 seconds freezes, sometimes 3 in a row, in World of Warcraft and Photoshop.

Can it be because my thermal paste is too old ? Or is it a driver/configuration issue ?

It doesn't seem to be temperature/usage dependant, so i'm leaning to the later
