Hi,
I work on ubuntu 14.04 and I try to install Intel HD Graphics Driver to solve a problem :
... $ gfx_sys_check Checking CPU Checking OS Linux | 4.4.0-37-generic | #56~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Mon Aug 29 20:51:23 UTC 2016 | x86_64 Description: Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS Checking display X11 mode libva info: VA-API version 0.39.4 libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0 libva info: Trying to open /usr/local/lib/dri/i965_drv_video.so libva info: Found init function __vaDriverInit_0_39 libva info: va_openDriver() returns 0 VA version: 0, 39 Driver description: Intel i965 driver for Intel(R) Broadwell - 1.7.3 Checking Intel HD Graphics Driver - is not (properly) installed Checking Open Source Offload Runtime - is not (properly) installed
I only found downloads for the windows driver, where can I find one for Ubuntu ? I have an Intel Iris Pro 6200 GPU.
I don't have internet access on the computer so I can't use intel graphics update tool.
Thanks,
Mathieu

Hi,
Unfortunately I can't help with Linux driver questions/issues, it is not a specialty. There are some places you can go for help though.
For questions and issues with the Mesa driver, your best options are:
- File a bug in Mesa's public bug tracker: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Mesa . In the component field, select Drivers/DRI./i965.
- Send a message to Mesa's development mailing list http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/mesa-dev .
- Most of the Intel Mesa developers are on IRC in irc://irc.freenode.net/#intel-gfx or irc://irc.freenode.net/#dri-devel. People there are very helpful.
For LVDS issues, your best option is to contact one of Intel's kernel graphics developers. You can find them on IRC atirc://irc.freenode.net/#intel-gfx and on the mailing list http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/intel-gfx
