I had been using a laptop (HP Probook 640 G4) with UHD 620 and WIN 11 PRO. MAX Resolution:"1366 X 768".
Why does the laptop not recognize FHD resolution? (1920×1080).
The laptop should know based on the processor specification.Max Resolution (eDP - Integrated Flat Panel)‡ 4096x2304@60Hz
I attached the SSU report.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

No, no, no... Go to HP and look up the EXACT model number. You will likely find that the screen itself has a MAXIMUM resolution 1366x768. This is HP's way of selling cheap laptops.
I looked up your laptop (and you can too https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05950919#AbT3 )
[Maybe Windows 12 will be better]
