I have been having trouble with my Intel Graphics HD 5500 driver on my Asus Notebook Q551L(windows 10) I get flashing horizontal purple lines. I had a computer guy look at it, and he went to device manager, uninstalled it and let it reinstall itself. This did not fix it. The purple lines continue to show up(typically at start up or if the battery has run out) Then he just disabled it. Problem solved...no more purple lines...HOWEVER...I WANT my Intel Graphics driver! Without it, certain things don't function. So how do I fix this faulty driver properly? Please explain in easy to follow terms, I'm not all that computer savvy. Thank you!!

I would be concerned about using the Intel drivers, as Asus may have modified the graphic drivers for your note book. Any drivers should come from them.
