How to extract gfx_win_101.4314.exe with command line

Hello,

I am doing a deployment of gfx_win_101.4314.exe from Intune.

When running with Intune the extraction goes automatically to System folder, and Intel driver is getting block with error message " The application is in an unauthorized location. Please move to a non-system folder".

I would like to know what is the switches or parameters I can use in my cmd to change the location of extraction.

I have tried different switches but non of them work:
-a -p
-e -d

Could you let me know how to extract in a specific place during install ?

Thank you,

Hello Vi99,

Thanks for your patience. I can recommend you try the following steps:

  1. Open Windows Settings.
  2. Select System.
  3. Click Advanced system settings.
  4. In the pop-up Windows Properties window, select Advanced.
  5. Click Environment Variables.
  6. Change TMP under User variables for USER to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp.
  7. Change TEMP under User variables for USER to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp.
  8. Click OK to save and close the Environment Variables window.
  9. Click OK to save and closeWindows Properties window.

If this did not help, I recommend you to check this request with Microsoft, since they will have more information related to the command prompt.
