I am using remote desktop protocol (RDP) to connect to my work computer from home. I am trying to run an application (ArcGIS) but I get the following error: "LoadLibrary Failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect."

The software website indicated that it could be a video cared conflict and that a work around would be to disable the Intel Video card on my laptop, forcing it to use the video card on my work computer. Is this recommended or is there another solution?

When you use RDP, you are using the Microsoft Remote DIsplay Adapter, not Intel or nvidia or AMD.
