I have an Intel HD 4600 graphics in my Alienware 15 R2 15" model as well. I recently bought a LG 27" 4K monitor. But the resolution I am getting is 4K @30hz only and not 4K @60hz which the monitor promises to deliver. I also have a gpu nvidia gtx 980m.

The monitor has two HDMI 2.0, and one DISPLAY PORT 1.2. My alienware has one HDMI 2.0 and one mini display port 1.2
