ICH10R see 3 TB WD30EZRSDTL as 746.52GB in BIOS and Disk Management

I am using a motherboard with ICH10R running in AHCI mode . I try to connect the 3TB WD30EZRSDTL as a da in Windows 7 32 bitta drive. I can only see 746.52GB in the BIOS and Windows 7 Disk Management. I can see 2,862GB in the RST Manager. If I switch to IDE mode instead of AHCI, I can see the correct size and can partition. Is there a 2TB limit in ACHI mode?
