Dear all,
I have MB MSI H61MA-E35 (B3) - H61 motherboard and Dell U3415W ultra wide 34" monitor.
I am unable to make it work through HDMI nor DVI-OUT no matter what I do. There is always no signal and I have tried everything (various ports on both sides, multiple cables, etc..).
When I take the computer and connect to other 24" HP monitor it works through HDMI without any problems.
When I use another computer and connect throgh DP to the U3415W it works without any problems (this computer does not have HDMI).
I just need to get to the BIOS so there is no OS involved and I do not care what resolution I will get at that moment.

I would love to do that but this computer does not run Windows, but ESXi. As mentioned above I only need to get to the BIOS.

In this case, we do not really think that you are facing a GPU issue, since the MSI* H61MA-E35 (B3) - H61 motherboard actually works through HDMI to the 24" HP* monitor.
On the other hand, we think that you might be facing a driver issue between your board and the Dell* U3415W monitor.
Based on MSI's webpage, there are no drivers for VMware ESXi, as the OS supported for the board are
Windows* XP (32, 64), Vista (32, 64), Win 7(32, 64), 8 and 8.1 (32, 64), and 10 (32, 64).

We strongly recommend you to contact MSI* to check if they have any other sort of driver validated for VMware ESXi.

Regarding the BIOS access, have you tried to access it with the 24" HP* monitor connected to the MSI* board?

Yes I did - it was mentioned above, but that is not my main goal.
I will try to create a new thread on MSI support forum then. I however think that this is not solution since other cards are working fine and none of them has direct drivers for ESXi. As mentioned already I need to get to BIOS and ESXi does not have anything to do with BIOS whatsoever. It takes over a few seconds later.
