Intel 915 GM or 915 GMS chipset?

How do i know which type my chipset is?i need to know ,because there is a difference between the 915 gms and the 915gm chipset.It says that 915 gm has support for ddr2 when used in dual channel ,only gms does not have dual channel,only single channel available.I want to know what do i have to do to use ddr2 instead of ddr.Below are the sepcs i got form intel chipset utility and the ones fro everest and also a link to the laptop's specs.
