Hello,
I have this laptop: Porsche Design Book One. It has an output 4096x2160@60Hz. => 8.8k

I have this monitor:
Samsung LC49RG90SSUXEN
5120x1440 => 7.3k

When I connect my laptop to the monitor I don't get the resolution I want.
I only get 3840x1080.

What do I need to do?

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi
After more research and updating some drivers i get the results seen in the attachment...
my laptop recognizes the resolution and the second screen. BUT it fails to be viewed on the monitor. the monitor is keeping looking for new sources...

what is your guess why i dont get any picture on my monitor?

best,
david

Hello DaveP,

Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.

To better assist you, please provide us with the below information:

  • By any chance, did you test straight connections? (HDMI* to HDMI*, DisplayPort* to DisplayPort*)

Provide us with the below reports:

Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)

With the external display connected, provide the Intel* Graphics Command Center report:

>Go to the Intel Graphics Command Center

>Support

>System Diagnostic

>Generate report.

>Attach the report file.
