Hi,
I've downloaded Intel® Driver & Support Assistant utility, which states that I need the latest drivers; however, after I apply the drivers, sometime after that the Windows Update installs Intel Corporation - Display - 30.0.101.1191 drivers, then the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant is back to square one.
Which drivers are better: the ones supplied by Intel through this utility or by Windows?
Thank you for reading.

Hello darkosh,
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We understand that you are experiencing issues with Intel DSA clashing with Windows updates.
Note that there are two different types of drivers, generics provided by Intel and Equipment Manufacturer drivers, that are customized to work with each specific system. The best thing to do is to use the drivers provided by the system manufacturer (OEM) or through Windows Update to eliminate the potential impact caused by loading non-custom drivers.
Intel DSA installs Intel generic drivers. Installing this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite any customized driver from your Computer Manufacturer (OEM). OEM drivers are handpicked, customized, and validated to resolve platform-specific issues, enable features and enhancements, and improve system stability. Intel’s generic graphics drivers are intended for testing,
If you want you can check our recommendations when Windows Update keeps rolling back the graphics device drivers to an older version.
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hello Jean_Intel,
Thank you for replying.
I was also interested about a certain thing that keeps popping up in the Event Viewer (The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_318C&SUBSYS_864D103C&REV_06\3&11583659&0&01) /Kernel-PnP, Event ID 219 Warning) which I found out it is the Intel(R) Dynamic Tuning Processor Participant.
I've noticed that many people have had this warning... does this mean the drivers are not compatible; there are issues with permissions, etc.?
Thank you for your time and help.
Regards,

Hello darkosh,
Note that the Intel® DTT is a system software driver configured by the system manufacturer (also known as OEM) to dynamically optimize the system for performance, battery life, and thermals. OEMs configure and customize the software specifically for their systems and decide what features of DTT will be used and how DTT is configured.
For support requests regarding issues with Intel® DTT, contact the computer manufacturer for proper assistance and use the software driver provided by them.
Best regards,
Jean O.

If Windows 11 excludes the update of the graphics card driver, it will reply that self-updating cannot solve the problem. It is only normal to install the Windows graphics card driver version.
