Intel Driver & support assistant is not installed (win 10 1803)

I had a pretty old intel driver and Support Assistant installed on my system which for some unknown reason, stopped working after few months.

At first, it gave me ERROR while uninstalling it from settings. AND the new versions WONT update too.

So, I uninstalled it using latest Intel®DSA Uninstaller file ( 29th JUNE 2019 at the time of writing).

But it still wont install the INTEL DRIVER & SUPPORT ASSISTANT. I have saved the log files and the error message:-

"

SETUP FAILED

one or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry Setup. For more information see the LOG FILE.

Hello SPara17,

Thank you for posting on this Intel Community.

We recommend following these steps to address this issue:

  1. Run the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant Uninstaller
  2. Restart and run the latest Intel® Driver & Support Assistant tool:

If the issue persists, please attach the following information:

  • Intel® SSU report:

1. Download the Intel® System Support Utility and save the application in your computer.

2. Open the application and click "Scan" to see system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".

3. To save your scan, click Next and click Save.

  • If you receive an error message, please attach a screenshot of it, too.
  • The latest DSAUninstaller.log file: using File Explorer, search for DSAUninstaller.log
  • The latest Intel® DSALog files: using File Explorer, go to folder = C:\ProgramData\Intel\DSA, and zip the Log files or entire folder.
